Branson at Christmas

Featuring Daniel O'Donnell
November 8 - 13, 2010

The magic of the holiday season is apparent all over Branson, from fabulous shows to dazzling lighting displays. “The Miracle of Christmas,” the first show of our tour, takes place on the Sight and Sound Theatre's 300-foot wrap-around stage and highlights The Nativity, featuring angels, kings, magnificent music, stunning scenery and live animals. Veteran singers Mel and Pam Tillis will treat us to country and gospel tunes, and Dusty Rogers and his band will pay tribute to cowboys and their way of life as well as to Dusty's famous parents, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. Our favorite Irish crooner, Daniel O'Donnell, will entertain us with just the right balance of popular songs, lilting ballads and songs of faith, after which the always-popular Oak Ridge Boys will have us tapping our toes and singing along to country and gospel favorites. The Shoji Tabuchi Show musicians offer us extraordinary entertainment ranging from country to classical music while the show's gifted dancers kick up their heals to lively polkas and enchant us with ballet elegance. Yakov's Moscow Circus will keep us on the edges of our seats with zany antics, Andrei the Clown, Boris the Wonder Dog, Russian dancers and romance. We will travel the mile-long illuminated Branson Area Light Festival path, have the opportunity to visit the Veterans Memorial Museum on Veterans Day and tour through the College of the Ozarks and surrounding areas. Dress is casual throughout the tour, and walking is minimal during planned activities.
