53rd Annual Labor Day Mackinac Bridge Walk

It's not a race! It's an adventure! Since 1957, thousands of Michigan residents, youngsters and oldsters alike, have trekked across the Mackinac Bridge as a personal achievement and a tribute tothe end of summer. Join friends and family members for this annual rite. Hartzler Travel will take all bridge-walkers to the St. Ignace side of the Mackinac Bridge and will be waiting for them on the Mackinaw City side of the bridge after they have spent time on their own in the downtown area for shopping and lunch. After departing Mackinac City , we will stop for a well-deserved dinner on the way home. Dressing in layers is recommended, as are sturdy, comfortable shoes.
