This weekend in Chicago will give us the opportunity to explore the Windy City from top to bottom. We will start at the very top when we travel to the 103 rd floor of the Willis Tower and look 1,353 feet down at the city below us. From way up here we should—weather conditions permitting— be able to see four states. Discovering Chicago's charms at the ground level will be up to each of us, as we will have the weekend to choose which museums, shows, stores and restaurants to include on our personal itineraries. Our hotel, the comfortable Silversmith Hotel, is conveniently located in the Loop, within walking distance to theatres, fine restaurants, State Street shopping and the Art Institute of Chicago. On Saturday, our motorcoach will provide a shuttle to Michigan Avenue's Magnificent Mile for serious shopping. Chicago holds new surprises every time we visit, and our favorite old haunts keep calling us back.
