As if New York City weren't exciting enough, the holiday season adds a special pizzazz to the City That Never Sleeps. Our home for three nights will be the fantastic Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel, located perfectly amid the hustle and bustle, theaters and restaurants of Times Square. Our tour starts with a Welcome-to-the-Big-Apple Dinner, followed by a look at the city from the 86 th floor observatory of the Empire State Building. Our favorite New York guide will direct our attention to sights throughout the city, some of which we have always heard about as well as some surprises. Be prepared for razzle and dazzle as the famous high-kicking Rockettes entertain us during a performance of the much bally-hooed Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular—now in its 78 th year. We will have plenty of time for shopping, exploring and theater-going on our own. With New York 's abundance of museums, shops, galleries and interesting neighborhoods within walking distance or a cab ride from our hotel, we may stay as busy as we wish. Dress is casual and walking is minimal for all planned activities.
